The truth about Facebook and paying for reach...

I've heard a lot of complaints about Facebooks reach going all the way down to 1%. That sounds horrible, a lot worse than it really is.

Paying for reach for your website links pays off huge if your content is truly "Click worthy". The key is to pay $5 or $10 for reach, if the content is good people will click, like, and most importantly SHARE, which will in turn increase your organic reach.

I've had huge success with paying a few bucks to reach my fans... I've had post do so well that I paid under one cent per click. The key is to have Interesting content that your fans will like and share...

An example of the problem I had with paying for a boost to my fans was that it was shown to few fans and mostly to their friends. I was surprised - wouldn't you think it was about paying to reach your fans that your posts don't show up for anymore?

I got many likes and a few shares, but no sales, which was my main goal. One can make this work, it just takes some testing and realize who you are really reaching.

I've had a similar experience with Facebook ads I ran for one of my niche sites. I regularly promote posts with a maximum budget of $15. The posts that are "click worthy" do well and the ones that aren't don't. Personally I thing that its important to experiment with Facebook ads. You can learn quite a bit from running a $5 campaign.
