Advice on getting a blue tick

Hi guys / girls,

One of my clients has a very good reputation Twitter account with 8.5K followers (all clean active and targeted, he used to have over 20k but we took out the fakes, eggs, inactive and foreign)... he is only following 200 accounts so the ratio is very good as well. Also he posts 3 to 5 times a day with relevant content and gets plenty of retweets and favourites.

Does anyone know how he can get the blue tick??

According to Twitter you have to wait for them to approach you to offer a verified account.

    They say:

"We do not accept requests for verification from the general public. If you fall under one of the above categories and your Twitter account meets our qualifications for verification, we may reach out to you in the future."

Getting your account verified by twitter is not an easy process. Twitter does not generally verify any account. The account needs to follow all the twitter guidelines and still have to wait for twitter to verify it The verification is provided generally to accounts which have some authority or are famous and have many fake accounts also. The verification tag provides uniqueness to those accounts.
The follower count does not matter in that case, twitter does not take followers or people you follow into account when providing blue tick. You could only follow all the guidelines by twitter to get verified and wait for twitter to give you blue tick.
