Is it possible to make money using LinkedIn?

I have read somewhere that people are making money using LinkedIn and I am not sure how they do it.

Can you shed some light about this? Do you think it's possible?

    If you're working in the B2B space LinkedIn is one of the best social media platforms, if not the best (I'd say G+ can challenge it if you're in a very tech-oriented niche of B2B, but are probably going to see better success with tech-oriented B2C on G+) for prospecting business leads.

    There aren't a lot of other platforms that let you engage the C-level executives of a company directly.

    You can also target middle management, IT heads, gatekeepers, etc..it all just depends on your product/service and your differentiator(s). It takes a bit of social tact to make it all come off but this is where people are deriving value from LinkedIn.

    I'm sure it's possible, just didn't have times to really do it (my 2 new virtual assistant will do that for me hehe)

    i will go to as much related groups (vertical marketing, niche, niche, niche) as i can and post nice info stuff there.
    Create an authority persona by helping peoples and give free stuff

    You'll do sales once you do that wherever you want.
