Pinterest tip for more traffic, but is it in bad taste?

I'm building up some decent follower volume on my Pinterest boards and pin daily - including my own images.

When I suggest clicking on a pin to see more images of this type on my blog in the description and include a URL (and obviously linking the pin to the blog post) I get more traffic - so it works.

QUESTION: is it bad form or spammy on Pinterest to say something like "Click this pin to see XX more images just like this (except only better)" and then provide the URL in the description?

I see that all of the time, and it is not spammy in my opinion. You're not pushing anything on anyone, just telling them where they can get more of what they're already looking for.

It's not a good idea. Visitors expect to see the image on the page when they click the description link, or they feel be tricked. The owner of the image won't be happy either if they found out.
