How to promote a facebook fan page?

Start with identifying your niche that's step 1.
Then create a FB ad and choose interest , age, demographic , location as per your business requirements and your targetted customer.
Set your daily budget, $ 100 in a month, if you want to get spent equally each day and in a month - divide it by 30 and you have approx $ 3.33 as per day budget.

Step 3 - Monitor your daily clicks and new likes- look into the profile of people who have liked to be sure that right type of traffic is coming in.

step 4 - keep track of traffic through this activity by checking your google analytics account.

step 5 - if you need to make any alteration in your TG , basis the response, do the same and follow the same cycle.

You can implement a right column ad and a news feed ad in Facebook that can only be seen by particular users (users you specify) while they're spending time in Facebook. Of course, the users you specify should be most likely interested in what you're offering in your Facebook page and site networks. To do this:

Develop a custom audience comprised of active Facebook users who are members of large niche-related Facebook groups. Use this custom audience as the target audience of a Facebook ad campaign with a right column ad and a news feed ad.

*** Your ads should feature an attention-grabbing headline and image, an interesting ad intro, an enticing video (with an attention-grabbing thumbnail) and a compelling call to action. These ads should be hooked to your Facebook page and could point to an opt-in form in your site where users can sign up and receive relevant content from you that provides your target users with benefits not found elsewhere. You may also itnegrate the same opt-in form into your Facebook page...

So, how can you do this? It's quite simple...

Use (edit to remove link) program to find niche-related Facebook groups and to extract the Facebook UIDs (user IDs) of all members of those Facebook groups.
