All that hype about earning from facebook! Does it work?

Hi,
The online world is now full of hype about facebook and
how it can help you heaps of money online.

The truth is that I have no idea at all about how
all these facebook ads work.

And hearing about advertisers facebook accounts getting closed
doesnt help either.
There are people who say we should get for our posts
others say, we should do facebook ppc.
I am not even sure facebook has the ppc option
maybe it's just facebook likes.

Well, all that hype has got me interested in facebook now
and I want to try out my luck.
But I dont want to buy the $1000 facebook product doing the rounds
these days.
Therefore I came to you guys.
Where else would I go, eh?

I need a recommendation about a guide that explains
all about facebook.
How does the ads thing work?
Why does facebook close the advertisers account?
I have no idea why they would do that.


So, what facebook guides have you tried?
Which one would you recommend to someone who has never tried
facebook ads before?


Any other advice or suggestions?

    Honestly the best way to start is just to get into Facebook's "ads" section and mess around. Don't submit any ads, but you can mess with the different targeting options, bidding, images, etc.

    Even just 5 minutes in there will help you understand Facebook ad guides a lot better. It's like riding a bike- if you actually know what a bike is, it's a lot easier to understand a guide on how to ride it.

    maybe the script you are using isn't working
    or maybe you entered the wrong keywords.

    Facebook still works but I will admit it not as easy as it once was. Me and friends are living proof that it works because some of them are earning some very good money. It all depends whst you want to do. If you want to advertise your own products or your affiliate products then basically you have to pay to make it effective. Facebook calls this "Boost" I believe it $10. I havent used myself as I prefer to get free traffic to my fan page - making money for newbies. I started a few days ago..

    Then, the accounts were closed because they were not being used correctly if at all. Now? Probably because the advertiser is breaking FB TOS.

    Yes, you can still make money on FB. I do it all the time; however, you kind of have to keep up on what's currently working with facebook ads. One way to do that is find a good facebook mastermind group. I learn a world of up-to-date info being a member of various groups.

    The two groups I learn the most from are the FB Ads Cracked group and the Fearless Social group. Unfortunately, both of these groups are only open to people who bought the products, but I'm sure there are other good groups out there that are free.

    As far as getting your page shut down by facebook, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Most of the pages I see get shut down are because the admins did something really stupid. I have SEVERAL facebook pages--some of them are sitting there without any updates for over a year--and I've never had any of them shut down. Read facebook TOS and you should be fine.

    My advice is to get out there and mess around with it. That's the best way to learn.

    Facebook is one of the most easiest platforms to use for advertising because of the way you can do your targeting.

    You'll know what I mean once you try advertising using different networks and platforms.

    And to answer your question, yes they still work well. In fact more and more people are turning into facebook for their advertising needs because of how they can get targeted cheAp clicks.

    Actually Facebook is one of the easiest ways to make money whether you're doing ads or simply posting from a fan page.

    You just need to do a little research on what works and what doesn't.

    I should be ok.

    The best and most sensible advice seems like "to get out there and mess around with it. "
    and that's what I'll do then
    and just ask questions about whatever problems I face.

    It is worth advertising on it and FB is one of the easiest and most efficient ways if you can do it properly.
    Research what you can and fully educate yourself.
    Try making some ads and familiarize yourself with it.

    FB definitely works. It's just like any other traffic source.

    Combine the traffic source with a converting product/service, then you'll do well.

    Be sure to read FB's TOS and guidelines. It's very helpful in determining what's allowed and not allowed.
