Your thoughts on having facebook comments on site?

I'm about to launch a new website marketing a single product. I'm debating whether or not I should have a "Discussion" page where I will simply have a facebook comments section for customers / future customers to post their feedback, questions, etc.

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience doing this. Do you think it will improve peoples sense of security / trust? Or do you think it has a good chance of backfiring?

Any experiences or thoughts are appreciated.

Having a FB comments section is actually a very good way to build up social interaction and awareness for your blogs. However, you should already have a traffic flow in place beforehand, because if not, your blog may appear "dead" to visitors and you will lose credibility - fast!

Hey Joseph thanks for your feedback, that's a good point I should probably wait until I have a fair amount of traffic.

I was thinking more of having a dedicated page just for people to discuss the product in general, not necessarily on blog posts. What do you think of that?
