Don't use software to extract people's UID for the sole purpose of advertising to them. If you don't have their permission, it's against their TOS.

Sure in theory they could ban you. Doesn't mean they will though considering the huge amount of people doing it at the moment....

I've been using Social Lead Freak to extract user ID's from FB groups and pages my account is still active.

I talked to the support desk of SLF and verified that no customer on their end has been banned from extracting user ID's.

By the way, not all the custom audiences are
the same, if you put them all in one basket, then
you're saying FB will ban you just because you're
using, for example, website custom audiences.

And I agree with JCorp, it is against their ToS,
and it is a mixed situation. We all knew this, but
we still use them.

Regarding the ban, as far as I know, the only people
getting banned are the creators of these softwares,
at least that's the case for FB Sniper.

Also, they keep rolling new options for targeting, you can
do above and beyond great with their precise interests,
demographics and behaviours.

Its unlikely that they will ban your account. It is likely that they will just not approve the ad though.

I think it comes down to how much money you are bringing to the table and whether or not you are engaging in other more spammy techniques.

SLF works fine for me..

It seems the biggest slap went to anything that provided graph scraping..
and Facesniper. Facesniper def got the brunt of it because they tried to pass themselves off as being affiliated with FB, by appearance and name.

Does anyone know of a graphscraper that still works, per chance?

Scrapping users using software and programs are definitely against FB's ToS but for a long time they have turned a blind eye.

As of recent, they have been enforcing this and cracking down on all programs that scrape users. It's only a matter of time before ALL programs are shut down.

But as for custom audiences, you can always upload your email list or website custom audiences without any dramas.

start getting familiar with using custom audiences so you are not reliant on scraping alone when the day comes.

It works for people if they don't get caught. However, once they do, the account gets banned.

Can't make money if your worried to take a risk to make the money.

Once your account has reached the maximum level of browsing traffic in your activity logs Facebook block your account for malicious activity. Once Facebook locks our account for malicious activity you will ask to verify governments ids for the accounts re-activation.

Well, social lead freak is now working to harvest people Uids, but converting Facebook, emails is not enough, sometimes self not working.

I am not able to create custom audience and I have received errors on high invalidation rate.

If really worried about this, you could purchase a fiverr gig to scrape the ID's for you. That way it's not your account nor your IP address scraping them.

If purchased UID from fiver are uploaded to your campaign could you get banned or is it just the act of scraping which is not allowed?

if I were fb, I would increase the price of advertising to custom audience, instead of banning. I would onl ban scrapers, which do not use social graph api. The advantage is, that I (as fb) gain control of this business and convertz it into (more) money.

What do you think about this?

I don't think they'll ban you but your ad may be rejected

I used my own custom software Facegrundge Equalizer which scrapes groups and UID's and auto posts feature... You need to have dozens of PVA inorder to harvest 100 of thousands of UID's in 3 hours.. autoposting is a breeze...

it's against Facebook TOS ,alternatively target your audience using the Power Editor and target an specific fan page or group!
