SOCIAL NETWORKS

Is there a way to scrap facebook fanpages so you can add (Or invite) that pages fans to your own?

What about youtube & Twitter, can I scrape targeted pages them so I can follow/subscribe people that might be interested in my product?

  There are lots of good reasons why your proposing a very bad idea. How would you like it if your name was scraped and you began receiving a bunch of spammy emails that you didn't consent to?

  True, I am going to be marketing an indie musician. I was planning on scraping the fans of similar fan pages and adding them.....Any alternative suggestions?

  Target the genre of music the musician caters to in the ad. Or you could target popular musicians who have similar styles to the musician you're promoting. Or you could create a Facebook page and create page like campaign to drum up interest. There are a lot of ways to go about promoting the musician without resorting to using methods that break Facebook's terms of service.
  
  Let me ask you this...Does the musician know what you're thinking about doing? If not, and you get his account banned from advertising, you could find yourself in a bit of hot water.

  Create a facebook fanpage with said interest, then do a like campaign using custom audiences, such as "Like xyz? Then Like Us!"
  
  Next post relevant content, and push engagement by asking questions, doing polls, etc.
  
  Also in regards to researching your target market, use places such as quantcast to see what kind of people are into your music genre. Quantcast will help you really drill down to the sex, age, education level, income level, etc. of your target market. This leads to you being able to create better custom audiences, besides just creating a custom audience that is only interested in xyz music.

HI Yocka, I'm a software developer and yes you would probably be able to scrape the UID's but as stated earlier in the thread this is against FB TOS. Also if uou were to harvest those UID's and then use in a campaign you will be discovered and you'll kiss goodbye to your facebook account. Facebook have been closing the accounts of people doing this not only the developers but the users too. So sorry to say it...but it's a really bad idea.

There are lots of softwares tgat can scrape Facebook, but I personally would advice 2
1 FB Groups Poster by Sean Walter
2 FB Group snatcher

Try them and get the UIDs.

Since what you are suggesting is TOS of Facebook, you risk losing your account. I would not recommend using any such tactics. Instead do things the ethical way and create a facebook page and get fans on it.
