It that true? I've a few tut video's i'm trying to rank just little higher.

Just by uploading video won't bring enough views to it.
You need to first bring visitors to it by yourself.

As the above members said Use Social Media Websites they are a stack of high converting traffic.
Build backlinks to it.

also you can use Views increasers like Addmefast, qqtube, vagex, enhanceviews
and much more.

Does vagex still work for someone or addmefast?

With Vagex now that they have very limited views (100 per day) I dont get a lot of views, but I see my points are worth more.

addmefast still works, the quality of the views is not that good (short duration) this usually leads to a 301 view stop, also the quality of the likes is mostly from what looks like bots (no profile picture etc)

People don't always realize that youtube videos can be used as a parasitic website. What this means is that you can slam them with 1000s of links and they do quite well. Seoclerk is a cheap place to purchase these types of links.

Make sure your youtube video is properly optimized (keyword in the title at least once, can even get away with twice) Keyword in the description, have a decently written few hundred word description.

A link to your website in the first sentence

And also link back to the actual youtube video in the description. (So after posting copy and paste the youtube url into the description) This is picked up by scrapers and re posted.

Also try to use dailymotion at the same time, because you will already have ready made video's to be uploaded

It's sort of easy to promote youtube videos because you can pretty much overkill the tags and make them easily searchable. Also you can share it with your friends on the social networks, given the right combination of content, title, appeal it will spread like wildfire on a hot Australian summer day.

When you create video to promote a product or service, make sure that you add ending credits with the URL to your web page or to the site where YouTubers can actually purchase your product or service. Use multiple call to action: Please rate this video, Follow me on Twitter, Find me on Facebook, and subscribe to my videos etc.
