Facebook ads per click to website. Great way to waste money?
I have a basic site set up to get people to a grand Canyon affiliate website.
Customer books usin the large company, I make a commission of the sale.
I set up an ad campaign on facebook for clicks to a website, and pick a cost per click that is not the minimum not the max.
All the ads are approved and I see sixteen cents have been spent.
For no clicks.
What gives?
Seems to me the max bid/cost is 2.35 and I'm bidding g far less, but if no clicks are generated, shouldn't I have no cost so far?
Seems maybe I ought to cut the middle man (my site) out entirely and send directly to the affiliate link page, but unsure if this would work or be allowed.
This is a tough way to get started with Facebook ads.
Am I doing something very wrong?
