I have a physical product we well in the UK, we can ship direct to the US, but my question is how do I advertise using our FB page - any ideas please advise as I do believe this is a low cost option to reach many.

I don't just see FB as the best and only option for this.
FB is better for interactions than advertising. If your store is already big then FB will help you keep in touch.

You would want to explore other avenue like adword.

Adwords, is full of click fraud in my industry. So I may as well just write a cheque and send it to my competition, because it will be them clicking the links!

When you say store, do you mean FB page? We have several products featured, just want to know how we can make sales on FB, for our products.

Doing a content is the best and easiest way to get in touch with people. Just make it sure that people can relate to you and your posts. For example, make them realize things that your product can help them ease their problem, take an emotional appeal, make some buzz, inform the people well, etc.

    Hope this help!

  • This is something for you.

People don't go shopping in Facebook.

You have a page, people "like" it. But, if they don't set notification when you update, not gonna work.

People invited me to like their page, but, if I don't set notification, I see nothing.

So, I think you can try this technique.

    Comment on the famous page.

Look at my signature, this is what I have just try.

I want people to make connection with me.

I don't want to be someone coming to them only once.

I want to build a relationship.

I really suggest you should try comment on the famous page in your niche.

For example, we have "TripAdvisor" page about travel in Facebook.

    Comment or ask question there.

Try to make connection with people who like that page.

By the way, I really don't want to overwhelmed you because they are so many ways to do this.

So, for further, if you need like a little bit help with this way. I mean if you have more questions related to this, feel free to PM me or email me: hoangthanh_binh8@yahoo.com

I don't subscribe to this thread so if you have question, I may not see it.

If you have a physical product, definitely set up a FB page. However, buying FB ads may not be your most effective channel. Without more information on your product, its hard to give much more advice than that.
