Facebook Dating Ads

Just started out in paid Facebook Ad's - had some success and some failures.

I was looking at Dating as a niche, but I read on most threads and WSO's that dating is a bit of a no go on FB at the moment.

Am I correct in this? is it particular dating niches or the whole Dating market?

      I can confirm this as I've seen dating pages specifically based on a certain type of dating Niche, with each post they direct the following audience to their website.

    Hey Roytee,

    I have never used Facebook ads for dating offers, but you should try POF ads. A while back, I ran a campaign of a clickbank product in the dating niche, and not only was the ctr pretty high, i managed to get a few sales within that one campaign.

    Dating has been completely banned by Facebook unless you get prior approval from them. Still you can run dating ads by cloaking the links. Even after that you need to create the ad copy in such a way that FB has little idea that the ad is a Dating ad.

    Lot of people are doing it and making ban still. A ban on dating by Facebook is actually a boon for marketers as it killed off the majority of the competition.
