facebook - Fake Clicks Scam

Hi,

This is second time, I started a campaign again but I got fake clicks counted. The facebook shown 8 clicks but there was not even one visit to my website. I have a chat script which also show real time visitors. I was monitoring it. There was no visit to website and within 10 minutes facebook shown and charged me for 8 clicks.

What is going on? Is it happening with you too or you know the problem!!

    I've never heard of anything like this with my clients. But how many hours have passed since you earned those 8 clicks? If it happened in less than 24 hours, maybe you'd like to check your stats again after 24 hours. Also, did you check your stats on your Google Analytics account already?

    We were using another 3rd party ad server before. And it did not tally with the stats given by Google Analytics after sometime. You might need to check the stats after 48 hours OR the links.

      This time, I was monitoring it properly. I started campaign for 10 minutes only. Within10 minutes, the clicks counted were 8 but there were no visits on my website by real time visitor script(this script works well, I have tested it). The Google Analytics is not showing any referral from Facebook even after 48 hours.

      It looks like a scam!! Have u guys ever monitored it?? Or do u think, I am making any mistake??

    Yes. It is a huge scam. Facebook's whole reveunue strategy is to screw you out of your $0.10.
