FB Retargeting - how is that working for you?

There has been a flurry of info for sale on facebook retargetting. For those
acually doing it, how is it working out for you?

Retargeting from my own site I am unsure on having my "list
at" Facebook without them having signed up for my own newsletter.

Things change, it is sort of like when I paid facebook for likes, then things
changed and now I have to pay to get my info in front of them again,
if I want much reach.

On the other hand, I could look at it as make money while you can and
how you can, as long as it is ethical and moral of course.

I would like to know how it is working for you?

  • I use re targeting quite a bit with myself and my clients. It works well!
Many times I create a side ad that tells them I know they've been to my site. Talks to them a bit more personally. And just use that website custom audience with the ad.

Try not to get creepy though with the ad, don't want to sound like we are tacking every move!

    • Thanks for the comment. And are you just relying on facebook capturing your/your clients visitors, so that
you can retarget them? Or Are you building your own/clients mailing lists as well?

  • I'm usually using three different custom audiences in my campaigns.
    1. Using a retarget pixel on the website for custom audience one
    2. Building and using an email list to create custom audience two
    3. Using power editor and building a custom audience with interest behaviours location etc.
