Hi all,


I have a viral video site on hot, current Viral videos.

Viral Vine Videos

I have been reading quite a bit on social media promotions. Driving traffic to my site. I have created accounts to try to get some of that traffic. I just have adsense set up. If anyone has other ideas on how I can monetize this site. Please give your input.

I am open to partnerships if anyone has some great ideas.

    Facebook is the best option of you want to gain traffic from " viral videos". Unfortunately i could not find any fun videos on your site to share.

    you can't really trick viral videos into happening.

    there is a small science into which videos are best and will have a chance to fly, BUT it's all about the people wanting to share (and thus giving you traffic).

    I think your first road bump is that you are repurposing content from elsewhere (meaning anyone can get those same videos from VINE or on their facbeook feeds as someone shares it) - need that 'something' to get people to recognize that YOU are the best curator of that content and they can go to your site and spend an hour laughing away. Maybe try to create original content as well or constantly post your top 5 list thru your social media channels, or make a commentary (show) laughing and talking about the videos (a la tosh 2.0 or something).... have to be different =)

      Use videos that is known to be viral already and embed them into third party video players with your website as a pop up and repost the video on high traffic sites like forums and blogs.

    What about using Google Hangouts?

    Since Google owns Youtube they automatically upload your videos and get you very good rankings on both YouTube and Google

    Get Google + Likes & Shares to create back links to your videos and do the same on FB.
    This combination seems to be the strongest for Video SEO & Views.
