FB ad reach of 3 million and only 35 clicks per day est

I'm a little confused about Facebook's add estimator. They claim 3M reach daily yet only 35 estimated clicks. No matter how broad I go it seems I can only get 35 through 40 max estimated clicks daily. Frankly I want 10x that.

is the tool wrong or am I doing something wrong? It seems pretty straight forward.

There always been a difference in Facebook estimated and real reach. You need to narrow down your audience and then try advertisement. I hope in this way you will get more clicks and less CPC. Having low budget but high bid will increase reach.

Yes, that true that CTR is very low. Even i also felt and lost money, i use to do advertising for Clickbank affiliate product but the main difference was the amount of clicks Facebook was showing in their stats compared to Clickbank had much difference. Clickbank stated that we only consider real human clicks not bot clicks. That points out that may be i got lot of bot clicks!!! Don't know...

It depends on your bids also. If your bids are high enough, then you can generally get as many clicks as your budget allows.

I've done FB advertising for many years xDennis and I can tell you right now that you have the wrong mindset about your audience.

Instead of thinking, "No matter how broad" you go but instead you want to pick the most specific audience you are able to because it doesn't work well when you're just trying to get in front of the most sets of eyes as you can.

Don't go for "high quantity" but "high quality". Works every time...!

    As Mr Michael Live said
Don't go for "high quantity" but "high quality"
Would you rather have 35 super targeted high quality leads/buyers come to your site, or 3,500 out of which only a handful are truly interested in your offer?

Oh sure it sounds super sexy to have thousands of est. clicks, but if they don't really matter, what's the point.

High quality and laser targeted is the way to go. Even if it's 35.

Definitely agree with the last two posts. You need to have a targeted audience. Make use of Fb's custom audience feature and based on what you're selling, build a target audience and blast your ads at them. That way you should get more clicks that are likelier to buy your product.

Another interesting point to note is that Facebook, considers multiple clicks on ad by the same user. For eg if your ad shows to user A and he clicks on it and tomorrow he sees it and clicks on it again, Fb registers two clicks. This could be a reason for a difference in the no of clicks reported by Fb vs any analytics resources.
