How to advertise on social media when you have no friends?

Hello this is Ernest, I been trying internet marketing since July 2010 and still haven't succeeded. I tried everything. If you have no friends or followers on Facebook & Twitter, how to do advertise? Any tools to buy to boost traffic?

    Hello Ernest, you may try Facebook ads, sometimes they can really bring good results, but if you do not know how to choose the keywords for your campaign well, you may end up getting no clicks, or just advertising to people that are not interested. Best of luck.

    Hey Ernest,

    If you have no friends or followers on Facebook, you can still make money. Maybe try creating a Facebook Fanpage on a good niche and build the likes and followers of that.

    Once you have a good size crowd of people following, liking, and interacting with your content and posts, you should be in great shape to monetize then.

    Throwing out advertisements to people that you have no relationship with is not going to get you much. Build engaging content and build relationships. That's pretty much what the "networking" part of social networking is all about, isn't it? Build content that people are interested in and make real friends.

      What I was talking about, if you have 0 friends and 0 followers, can I use social media management tools like Hootsuite & Spout Social? I am struggling trying get attention.

        HootSuite is great for the postings on your social media page. If you can plan 1-2 posts a day with quotes and good content that other ineternet markets could use...such as articles or tutorials from other bloggers, link that to your posts.

        Then as everyone else is saying, create a Fan Page and you will build your "likes". After you build your likes, then you can start monetizing from your fan page because you have created a relationship with all the people who "like" your fan page and follow you on twitter.
