is buying likes and followers all fake?

These sites that you can buy scripts for to sell social media followers and likes, are those 100% fake? Or does it all depend on who you get the services from? When you buy scripts that come with skype contacts, it seems to me that they just increase your number Count.

and when you post, there isnt any engagement in user activity?

    Fake, don't do it.

Plus it's the engagement you're interested in which you won't get from "like farms". Don't buy likes, buy targeted traffic to a squeeze page and collect those leads and encourage to like on facebook.

    Quality not Quantity...

Exactly. It's all about engagement, engagement, engagement, engagement.

You can have a million likes, but if you don't have engagement nobody will see your posts anyway.

Reason I ask is because I was thinking about starting a social site selling the services. I know it brings in money but its not really benefiting clients.

Buying fake FB page likes can seriously mess up your post reach. It could literally kills your fan page. On the other hand people respond more often by pressing the LIKE button on popular pages. Are you going to like a page with 60 fans? I will think twice before doing that.

If you have many popular pages with real fans and start offering real fans exposure to customers by sharing their posts to your auditory could be win-win situation.

Don't buy likes. Instead, invest the money in running promotions for popular posts and for page likes. That way you'll build a page that's highly-engaged and you'll get a lot of organic reach with your posts.

But what about selling the services.... Even if you're not getting them, you can still make $ by offering the services?

I have ran a Facebook campaign to boost my post before, how come there is still no activity on those campaigns? They bring likes but no activity.

How do you plan on selling the likes? As real likes from real people or as click farm likes, which is what they'll inevitably be?

The business sounds wrong honestly.... Like one of them scam tactic deals that people think they have got to have. Because they don't like to work for it.

They do add followers and likes but the accounts are most likely bots/fake.

The last thing you want to do is buy fake followers/likes

you want user engagement and social shares.

If you start selling likes, of course you're going to make some money (nothing crazy) from people who believe having tens of thousands of likes are going to benefit them some how.

Now it becomes an ethical question. Knowing that the number of likes means zero, and the likes you'll be selling are all pretty much fake, and the person whose money you've collected is basically pissing it down the drain with no chance of a return (worse then gambling), knowing all of this will you pursue providing this service? That's the question you have to ask.

So if a music artist wants to promote his music and get lots of listeners, what is the best way for that? Taking away the fake likes...

If you pay (or charge) $5 for 1000 likes, that's fake no way around it.

The only way to get legitimate likes are to use legitimate forms of marketing which will cost money.

For the music artist question, they need to get on youtube and start building a following, that's where Beiber got his break!

All likes and followers are all fakes. They are not helping for the engagement.
