Google+, Account on my Name or my Website's Name?

I started a blog about creative writing one week ago (after a long time of preparation).

For my google+ account, I'm wondering whether to keep it under my name or change it on my blog's name.

On one hand, google authorship matters a lot to me, on the other hand an account on my website's name looks more professional and as I see, every site is going under the website's name.

What's your opinion?

Create a Google+ Profile in your own name. Then under the left navigation, select Pages. Create a Page for your blog there. You will be able to manage the Page from your Profile as the author of both. When you add Google+ links to your blog, use the Page. If you set up your blog posts to automatically to go Google+, send it to the Page. Occasionally share content from the Page on your personal Profile. Keep your personal things to your Profile and your blog things go to the Page. Simple as that.

      Awesome, thanks a lot!

So this is basically the same system FB has in place.

And when I have established google authorship (did it with the plug-in "Google Authorship"), is that enough to automatically show my photo next to the search results?

From what I read, Google ditched the author image in search results as it was making the search results load too slowly. Your info should still be there though connected to all your other content.

Yes, they axed the photos a week or so ago. However, you info will still appear. New data isn't in yet as to what difference this will make in the previous benefits of Google Authorship.
