Seeking Advice on Making My First Youtube Video

Hi Guys

I can't tell you how long I've been resisting getting in front of a camera but I've finally realised what a big opportunity I'm missing out on to promote a new rejuvenation skin cream. I would appreciate some expert advice on a cost effective way to make good quality youtube videos. I use a MacBook Pro and I know it has an inbuilt recording program but I've no idea if the quality is good enough to promote a quality product. Please let me have your thoughts on this.

    I use ashampoo very low cost but works great but I just do screen tutorial videos so I don't have to be on camera .....

    PS I have 6000 followers on my YouTube channel.

    Hi Mairin. If you really don't like the idea of getting in front of a camera. Check out fiverr.com lots of people on there will make videos for you at very reasonable prices. Hope this helps !!

    Youtube is a good idea of promoting your product or services. Regarding with the video quality, since you are using MacBook Pro there is no problem with the video quality. Here are the tips for you if you are really shy about video recording:

    1. You can write your dialogue,script or an outline
    2. tell a story about your product
    3. relax and talk to your clients
    4. dress well and think about your background
    5. practice, watch your video, try it until you like it
    6. quality content is what counts

    You can always record without talking if you are too paranoid.
    Then voice over it with a record of your voice.

    Macbook pro is fine if you want to make mediocre videos. If you want professional looking studio quality. invest in a decent camera with and lighting umbrellas.

    I would suggest fiverr or creating a video that includes written facts & benefits combined with images of the epected results. That way you won't have to be in front of the camera.
