Hootsuite Vs Sprout Social Vs Raven?
I like Hootsuite...it would be my go-to solution if not for one thing: crazy report costs. $50 for a report? Seriously? Don't they realize how many reports we have to run for clients? And some of their reports are accessible only by the "Enterprise" level account—you know, the $1,500 a month plan.
I like Raven, but it isn't as streamlined as Hootsuite. The report function is great, though, and there are a lot of reports to choose from. And Raven makes creating brandable reports very easy.
Sprout Social costs the same as Raven and seems to have the same features more or less, but it's reports seem to populate very slowly.
Which do you prefer? I would prefer Hootsuite if they were more upfront about their prices. Their interface lets me get in and out quickly, and I really like that. A low monthly price is great, but not if they hide the true cost of the service in a weird a la carte report system that seems designed to gut us.
