I have a question about how to find specific Facebook pages.

Hypothetical example:

Suppose I wanted to find a list of all the FB pages on 'dog training'.

Then I wanted to refine searches down to those pages that more than 1000 likes.

Then I wanted to refine it down further to those page where the location is in the US State of Florida (or even a City in Florida)

I did try the 'search' function inside Facebook, but that can't give the results.

Any suggestions on how that can be done?

I'm not sure that Facebook allows you to search like that. I'd go to the pages directory and search "dog training Florida" and then look for pages that had 1,000 or more likes.

You are right.....FB doesn't allow the searches to be done that way.

But you can do it using Google to find FB pages, and you use specific search strings and syntax.

So using Google you can find all the 'dog training ' FB pages only

But that's as much as I've been able to find out.

Not sure why you want to search Facebook pages that way. The best way to do this is to write a small app with Facebook graph API. Google search isn't that effective for this type of search.

Maybe there is a software available that would allow you to search Facebook pages for the information you want. Currently, the built in Facebook search won't allow for this.

      Thanks Samuel,

Developing a specific software app. seems that is really the only option.

Because you certainly can't do it through FB in any way
