Pinterest Following Ratio

Hi guys,

i was following pinners in Pinterest and received the following message:

"You have reached your following limit. Your limit will increase if more people follow you. For now, if you like to follow this pinner/board, you will need to unfollow one you are currently following."

Well i did not exceed the daily following limit i think, i was following about 200-300 pinners in the first days and about 2-3 days afterward followed more 200 and got this message...

So i think there should be some sort of ratio between the followers that i have and who i am following.

Do you guys know what is the ratio?

    I have not yet reached that ratio/limit on Pinterest. But, if you encountered it, then maybe it really exists. Maybe there is a way for you to get more followers on Pinterest and then start unfollowing some of the pinners/boards you had followed before which are not serving their purpose.

    It's more a spam catch on Pinterests part then a follow to followed ratio. I've had the same a couple times when I went crazy adding new people or repinning things to quickly. The freeze should go away in the next day or two.

    Try spreading out your daily "following" regimen and that should prevent this following freeze.
