Instagram marketing plan for targeted traffic

Hi,

I just set up an Instagram account because I own a business where I use a lot of images to continue brand awareness. I am looking for information regarding any successful tactics using Instagram to increase targeted followers. I have been liking photos and leaving personal positive comments to gain a few more followers but I am looking for other options. I have been getting inquiries from my Instagram so far but want to continue the process and increase followers. I have been also gaining emails and building a list. Any help is appreciated.

    Mass following, mass liking, shoutouts. Set up a botnet with thousands of accounts etc.

      i agree with this. dont stop posting because you have to stay alive on instagram to keep the likes continue to increase. they have to know you want them updated then finally theyll appreciate your efforts.

    Hashtags, hashtags, and MORE hashtags!!! There is actual an app for Instagram hashtags that are categorized. You pick a category and hit copy it copies a bunch of tags and you just paste them after your caption. Also.... google instagram top hashtags. Use those and you will start to see an increase in followers.

    Keep engaging with other users. Make sure to follow users who share the same interest.

    These might be pretty basic, but do you have it linked with FB? Are you using general and niche specific hashtags? Are you making sure to mention good customers, ie. @soandso so that they have recognition? Post an occasional video. And, as I'm sure you're already doing, engage your audience with genuine interest & be sure to comment on every post. If they took the time to comment, you should take the time to acknowledge their comment.
