Yes facebook is very effective, but you need to be careful when promoting MMO products because it is against facebook policy. You have to have promote it in another way. Like " get more traffic or listbuilding" Don't put "make money, in your ads because facebook will not approve them, and don't be frustrated if they ban your account, it happens all the time.

And if you are going to capture leads, you have to make sure you have a Privacy policy on you landing page. If you don't have one you can make one for free, just searhc for " free privacy policy"

I've never tried Facebook ads too because I don't think it will help my business. My facebook is talking about clothing but Facebook always shows me ads irrelevant, for instance, the insurance ads. I've seen that video, but in my experience it's wildly inaccurate. I've built a number of pages up using paid likes from Facebook and I've got active pages that appear to be full of real users that are engaging with my content. Of course, all of the likes I'm buying are from the United States...Attempting to buy likes from a third world country may have much different results.
