Facebook video strategy

Hi all,

Looking for a little advice. I'm looking at building up my FB likes and helping my credibility with a series of videos over the coming weeks.

My FB page is http://www.facebook.com/mbhypno

I'm just not sure the best way to go about it. Here is what I am starting to do as of today... any advice or thoughts would be extremely welcome

1) Post video onto FB through my vimeo account (this will also go on my blog once my site is rehashed next week)
2) following day repost it by uploading to FB so its in the 'videos' section of FB. Then post ths link in some of the FB groups that it's applicable for, such as self-development etc (I would never sell through these video's if I was putting it onto the group sites)
3) I will then add the videos to Youtube also to get some extra exposure.

Any thoughts on this approach?

    I talk about my last test.
    I shared one of my Youtube video on FB, It reached 4k people and 3 shares.
    2 Days later, I uploaded the same video to my FB page, 17 Shares plus more likes.
    I noticed this on many pages also.

    Thanks for your reply. I must say that I uploaded my videos to FB for the first time yesterday and I noticed a difference in the reach also. I suppose it would make sense for FB to prioritise their own

      It is important to upload your video directly to Facebook instead of linking to a YouTube or Vimeo video. When determining which suggested videos show up in people's news feed Facebook gives preference to videos uploaded directly rather than links to YouTube videos. Facebook and the other social media giants are constantly battling for our attention and so they give preference to content that is posted on their channels instead of the competitions.
