I noticed this trick on couple of Troll pages.
I also own few Troll pages.
So, I tried this today.

Usually, my posts are reaching only 12k people out of 160k likes.
And got around 100-150 post likes.

Today, it reached more than 40k people and got 560 likes.

This is the trick.

Instead of update status. Create a milestone. Post your status as milestone.

You can see the changes.

      While updating status, you can see Status, Photos , More > Event, Milestone.
