We are starting a campaign on Google+ with authorship.
Should we focus on building the business page or building our authors' profiles?
#facebook #follow or unfollow #strategy #twitter

I would build both. A group as well. I build a fanpage and group all at once to almost 2K between both in few months all who are 100% interested in my site. It drives traffic back and allows those who like your page to see you in their Gmail and I believe still come up in Google search results on first page.

Google + has enormous benefits and uses for businesses looking to expand their online marketing potential. It is now the second largest social media platform after Facebook, leaving Twitter a distant third. Unlike Facebook it has greater applications and functionality for businesses. Go ahead

Isn't Google+ authorship dead? At least that's what it looks like according to this link from Google.

To further expand that idea, interacting on Google+ as your page allows you to provide a unified theme for your business (which will encompass all author's who write for your site and their collective content). Representing yourself via the Google+ page is a smarter idea as it lets you brand your business rather than one individual writer who happens to work for you.

For a novice to Google plus can someone answer am I going about it the correct way. I have a google account which then has a google+ profile for me the person. From this profile I have several pages branching out which are their own business in their own right. These are all very different so I have a page for each. Have I structured this correct and is the only way this can be set up. I would then use each page to make posts and promote each business but they all run of my one personal profile ?
