twitter query can you help?

Hi guys wonder if you can help.

I have a client who is looking at running a comedy festival and have approached us to assist with the marketing. One area we are targetting is comedians on twitter with a social following. Now i am learning about twitter but not really an expert so i have two questions.

Is there a way that i can find the location of the followers of a comedian. Really what country they are based in. The worry is they might have 100,000 followers but if none of them are in this country its a wasted effort.

Secondly if comedian x has 100,000 is there a method to find out who they follow. If we can do this we could advise on who else would be worth booking for the event.

    The only way to find out their location is by checking their profile individually. That said, the user must have set this up to show on public and in most cases most users only show city and country.

    to find out who these comedians follow, simply check their profile, there is a stat count for the number of people who follow them "followers" and the number of people these comedians follow "following". Simply click on the "following" stat and you will see a list of all the people they follow.

    But...

    If you are targeting a local comedian, chances are that they are followed by locals as well.
