Is Fiverr.com good for anything ?

Surely Fiverr is good for something or the place would of been shut down by now with all the complaints

i would of thought that people with massive followings would advertise on there for $5 to advertise other peoples pages and profiles

i know i would to help others out

I have 17,000 likes and if i thought i could help anyone out for a few likes i'd certainly do it

So is Fiverr good for anything, it has to be ???

Fiverr is not really good for anything unless you are running on a very low budget.

With so many people selling on Fiverr, its no surprise that some people complain about a bad service. Even though, there are several good quality gigs out there. You just have to know how to search for the right one.

Fiverr is GREAT for certain things and TERRIBLE for others.

Design services on Fiverr can be awesome.
Voiceover, transcription, research -- I've had great luck with these.

The writers aren't great, but about what you'd expect for $5.

To be honest, I'm happy with about 95% of the gigs I order.
But I only order gigs that have a lot of reviews, and if I'm ordering something that needs to be high quality, then I make sure they have plenty of past orders where I can see the results and determine if they're good enough.

As for Facebook likes, YouTube views, tweets, and that sort of thing, I don't bother with those. Why? They're all against TOS and I'm not going to risk having my accounts banned. Plus, most of their thousands of Twitter subscribers are bots and their Facebook friends are bots, so you'd be advertising to a bunch of fake people. Not sure how much good that's going to do you, unless you have products that robots want to buy.

Fiverr has it's Pro's and Con's. Yes, it's a great place if your rolling on a budget but it's also a great place to meet new connects for just about anything. If you are wanting a logo, you can meet graphic designers willing to do a great job at a low price (it's not just $5 on everything).

I have connected with all sorts of service providers, graphic designers, coders, and videographers.

It just depends what you are planning to use it for. You can earn allot with Fiverr.

I've found there are a bunch of crap sellers on there, but a few genuine gems. And when I've found those people, I stick to them like glue. But yeah, I've had a few bad experiences for sure, you just have to tread carefully.

I think Fiverr is getting a bad rap. I have used it to have graphics created, videos created, to hire voice over artists and even found some decent writers.

Do you have to hunt to find the good ones? Yes. Is it worth it when you do? In my opinion, absolutely.

If someone wants to sell a fun little service for $5.00 and can offer high quality, then so be it! I'm not going to argue with that.

I hired a guy on Fiverr to create/sing a personalized song for one of my staff members for her birthday. She really loved the song. The guy included mention of all her name/favorite things into this customized song. He did a pretty good job of singing/recording. I can't complain. Best $5.00 I have spent on a gift so far and she felt very special for having been remembered on that day.

If you don't know what you are getting don't buy!

    Use fiverr for:
    • Graphics & Design
    • Fun stuff
    • Business Advertising as far as flyers
    • Video Creation
    • Very little marketing and advice
    • Very little SEO
There are some legit marketing services, only trust the ones with high alexa rankings you know are a legit business. If you dont know what you are getting don't buy.
    • Giveaway site submission if you have a giveaway
    • Blog advertising in related niche only if site is ranked under 100K Alexa

Be careful pretty much everything else when it comes to sites especially SEO:
    • Never purchase Bulk anything
    • Never purchase pyramid links
    • Never purchase backlinks
    • Never purchase bulk social media fans or likes
    • Avoid almost every seo gig that does not gain backlinks or bookmarks one by one ( a lot say manual but who would manually post 99 links for $5? Avoid those scams)
    • Never purchase traffic unless seller presents site
    • Never ever purchase comments unless they are manually done over period of days

Fiverr is great. The secret is in working smart. It takes me 2 mins to do a $5 gig and then upsell my $40 extra gig which takes me another 5 mins. It's about delivering value but in the shortest possible time. My ultimate goal is the 4 hour week. I have that fire in my belly and the massive steps have started. Remember a journey of 1000 miles starts with the very first step.

I've had very good luck with written material and design work. Here's what I'd recommend:

    1. Choose who you work with carefully. Look for the gigs that can deliver fast (1 or 2 days) and the gigs that have a lot of positive reviews.

    2. Anything that sounds to good to be true probably is. 10,000 Facebook likes? Run the other way. Website traffic? It's a waste of money. Backlinks? Absolutely not!

People who are buying the likes and followers need to know that they arent real. They can be real looking but i found that most are just setup and dumped or are abandoned accounts. If you want those though its cheaper to get them at seo clerks.

If you're looking for quality work, then I don't understand the necessity of finding a gig with a fast turnaround time. The "writers" on Fiverr who are able to deliver in the shortest amount of time are those simply spinning content.

As a Fiverr seller, my motto has always been to "under-promise and over-deliver". I don't promise to deliver the articles within 48 hours, even though, I usually do. Instead, my only promise is that I will do the necessary research to compose an article that is informative and in sync with the needs of the buyer.

On Fiverr, my username is eatruntravel. Compared to some of other writers on there, I have very few reviews. However, if you look a little closer, you'll notice that most of the reviews are from very happy repeat buyers.

There are many places in the world where 5 Dollars can make you have a great life for 1 day or more, even for tourists who are charged overprice I got 3 courses dinner with 2 Banana smoothies in Kuta for (35000rupies = 5$) 2002 when I was in Bali

Like everyone else has been saying Fiverr has it's good and bad points. I have used it for graphics work with a lot of unique artists on there - great! But you will get a lot of people who just go on paint or use Googled photos - bad!

Fiverr can be bad as well such as buying Likes, Follows (Social Media can be kind of suspect)

Being able to outsource to someone else who is not a regular member of your staff, not only saves money but frees up time for projects you should be working on more. And, just think what $5.00 could buy for you in real life. Not much! This designer might be working five minutes or three hours on your project, but if you are getting the results you want, then you end up the big winner here.

Sounds like there are some decent services on there but as far as traffic what do you expect for $5? You can't even buy decent worldwide traffic for that cheap. I think the only way to get true organic traffic that works is from building up your SEO.

I will not say anything about Fiverr but yes if this is the ethical way then anyone can go for such a service as $5 is a big amount. Moreover, as per me later or sooner Google will definitely sue such sites which are offering this type of businesses. And somewhere the strict rules and regulations from Google is the result of these sites only.

So, personally I don't recommend you going for such things.

When purchasing off Fiverr, always make sure you check the customer reviews at the bottom of the gig you want to purchase, some people, like me, write honest comments in there.

I have purchase many different types of gigs, my rule is to only purchase form level 2 sellers, the chance of getting poor service is a lot less since higher level sellers actually have a reputation already and care about it.

I am actually thinking of doing a post of the best Fiverr gigs I have tested so far, pity they don't have a affiliate or referrals program lol

It isn't really good for sellers or buyers. Think about it. Sellers are only actually making $4. What kind of quality can they afford to deliver at that price? The only thing that is worth their time to do are automatic or one-button processes like tweets or shady backlink generation practices.

Sure, $4 is more elsewhere than it is in the US, but still, I would stay away.

Also, most of the reviews are fake. There are numerous forums where people trade reviews or outright buy them. The same thing is happening at Amazon.

    Not worth it.
