Anyone tried Pinterest promoted pin ads yet?
Pinterest promoted pin ads are still in the early invitation phase and seem to only appear in search results. I like to try new ad platforms since I figure big opportunities are right when they launch and I applied as soon as they announced they were accepting applications.
Fast forward nearly two months later and I finally got in. After a month of testing, I am happy with the CPC which is between $0.10 and $0.75 depending on keywords and my bid. I found a lot of even seemingly huge keywords get no action since people on Pinterest are not searching for them. Finding the combination of a good pin and a keyword with action that is actually useful seems challenging but a big opportunity for the right advertiser.
Have you or has anyone else you know tried Pinterest ads yet? I searched and have not found any discussion from other people that have.
