Hi Guys,

Yes you can, but if you want to use the paid traffic, such as google adwords or facebook ads, better use a blog in order not to get banned.

You can promote your amazon affiliate links directly on social media. Amazon has no problem with that.

You just have to be smart about it otherwise it will be hard to make any conversions on social media. And people can easily get pissed off if you go hard promoting to them on social and can flag you as spam.

During my first attempt with amazon affiliates I promoted the links on twitter. I had several niche specific accounts where I tweeted the links. Didn't work out.

The best way that worked for me is to create a blog or niche site about a specific product/line of products. Takes time and effort but you'll reap good returns.

Yes, You can promote Amazon Affiliate link through Social Media like Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest. But I think this is not a good idea, It will be better to promote affiliate through your own blog because If you promote affiliate link through your own blog, there is a big chance to earn for a long time. And also if you promote affiliate link in social media, there is a chance to get banned by Amazon.

I think that your best bet is to promote your blog and making sure that the links that you want to be seen are in a place where they are easy to notice on your blog.
And this can be done on Facebook (Facebook page), Twitter, Tumblr etc, by posting summaries of what you blog onto these platforms linking back to the full articles on your blog, and using Facebook ads to promote the Page where you have plenty of links going to your blog.

      best of Luck

There is no problem on promoting your Amazon affiliate links on social media. But you have to concern about spamming. Don't try to spam, it could be harmful for your Amazon account.

If you're buying traffic from Fiverr, HitLeap or Jingling, you're wasting time and money. Check out Serpify!

I agree with This, Amazon are really good in this matter. Plus, it will bust out your account.

Since there is a 'quicklink' feature to both FB and Twitter on the Amazon Affiliates bar, I think Amazon encourages this type of promotion.

However...just throwing up affiliate links on your FB page isn't going to get you sales. I have built a website (just started, so only a few posts as of yet), and created a companion FB page for it. As I write posts on my blog, I put relevant affiliate links in both the post and on the FB page.

I also seek out useful, relevant posts from other sources to complement my FB content, and put some posts on my website that are totally not 'salesy'. I think ultimately, aiming to create a useful site your readers will get value for is what will get you sales. It's not quick, but it will build you credibility and hopefully a long-term income.

    Hope that helps!

It's like trying to get your amazon associate account disabled. Why not start a blog and write seo unique content related to the product.

I often see Amazon products posted on FB Ads. So I guess it's allowed. I'm not sure with posting through comments, though.

Why not get a domain and setup redirect scripts like LinkCloaker Pro?

You can likely do anything you want. As for whether or not it's against Amazon or Facebook TOS, that is another story and some people who post affiliate links actually don't care. From all that I've read of Facebook TOS, they don't want advertising links being placed (such as affiliate links). And, maybe that's just how I'm interpreting their TOS and you might read it differently.

I started a new facebook and added two new pages on it, with amazon products with the shorten affiliate amazon link, Product Description and photo. I bought facebook ads to boost the likes in my pages.I did good in getting 2000 likes in my two pages but no sale on anything. But after reading the comments here I decided to take the amazon lnks out. Just to be on the safe side.I sure do not want to get my account banned. I eventually will do a blog to do this right. Thanks for the good posts everyone.

You can promote your Amazon affiliate link to all social media but it will be best if you promote by your own blog. If you pay to bring traffic it be more save ore social media like FB can block you.

Okay sorry for bringing this old thread up again. I wanted to ask if it's safe to use Amazon affiliate links in Twitter Cards and promote it in Twitter Ads? I just want to make sure what the risks are in running a Twitter Ads campaign for it.

I don't think there's any rules against it as far as I'm aware. Personally I don't like seeing people promote their affiliate links from their social media accounts but a paid ad is different and I can't see any problem with it.

you can almost everything in social media, the real question if the traffic is going to convert.

get their emails first, people in social media are there to have fun and not to spend money... so build your email list!

Twitter seems pretty relaxed on this issue but Facebook really doesn't like affiliate links a better idea would be to send traffic to landing page.

This is like the one question that Google and the internet can't agree on.

What about non amazon links? I'm thinking of starting my own affiliate network in a specific niche for my product (where most people don't have blogs or websites but have FB), would they be able to post the affiliate link straight onto their FB status updates and Twitter tweets? I've great a great word of month community and want to utilise it!

    Thanks
