is SEARCH breaking again?

All searches seems to end at Sept 28 - in the past when this happened it was only a matter of time before the entire search function went down.

  • Still broken. Search is basically useless making the site even more of a PITA to navigate and find things. I can only imagine the amount of people who just leave the site because they can't search for anything...

      Nope, search is not going back near far enough. Your "find all posts by user" is only going back to June 24, 2013 and mine is only going back to August 31, 2014.

      It's still messed up and Alaister says he has his team working on it.

  • It's funny, the only ones complaining about search is all the old farts.

    I don't think that vast majority of visitors/users even bother with search on the forum. hehe

      It's still fubar. Dates are random.
      And there's a huge hole for months worth of posts (they need to take it offline for a bit, and run a manual index of the threads).
