The Reviews sub-forum has a rule where you have to have 20 posts in order to be allowed to post in there.

I've seen people posting in other sub-forums asking for reviews of products from other members. Basically, just asking them what they think of the product.

These threads usually get moved to the Review sub-forum, which is fine.

However, it would appear that if the poster has less than 20 posts, the thread is just being deleted. I'm guessing this is because it doesn't fit the 20 post requirement to be in the Reviews sub-forum.

I understand why the requirement is there, but shouldn't it be for people providing reviews, not people asking for an opinion on a product? It doesn't seem like a very welcoming community when someone joins to ask this vast forum about a product or service only to have their thread deleted.

Or can such threads just be left in the forum where they were posted?

Just seems there should be a better solution than deleting their thread.
