Buy A Beer

A while back there was a feature on the Warrior Forum where a member could "reward" another member who had been helpful. It was simple. There was a "buy a beer" button a grateful member could click that pointed to Paypal.

That member could send the helpful poster a couple of bucks as a gesture of gratitude. I don't know why that was discontinued but bringing it back might encourage more participation from members that actually have real business and online marketing experience.

    The problem was, those buttons made it easy for anyone to harvest Paypal email addresses. The address was right there in the link.

    An easy way to bring this back would be to simply add a link (or image) in your signature file that goes to a PayPal donation page. Should be pretty easy to set up, and safer than using email addresses in the link directly.

    But yes, it would be nice to see something like that brought back to the forum.

    Thanks for this suggestion. I like the intent behind this, rewarding people for helpful answers. We do have the Thanks feature, but I think this could be used a lot more. We'll discuss it more on our end to see what we can do.
