I'd like to be the tutorials or guides section on the forum.

Even If the section is created it may be having many cons or side effects with little pros. But on the section that has lots of tutorials or guides to make money can be filtered out by the forum users as a result of contentions and suggestions or ideas.

    They used to have something similar to what you are describing here.

    A lot of people posted "information articles" or "tutorials" but in the end they closed the section to any new posts.

    I think the reason was because too many people took it as an opportunity to write mediocre articles, with the sole purpose of dropping links to there own products and websites.

    The value of the forum dropped to pretty much non existent levels so they just closed it.

    I think if they reopened it but banned any links, the forum might become useful. This is because then, the people posting in the forum will be people who genuinely want to post something useful rather than people posting solely for there own gain.

      For what the OP seems to be asking - the "guides" would be the all-in-one threads. I'm assuming he means "see" rather than "be" but could be wrong about that.

      This is not an instructional course - it's a forum.

      The article section was short-lived and mainly self promotional...in that the articlse were meant to promote the sigs. It was a pay to play section that fizzled.

      There are 'how to' methods all over this forum - some of them by people who know what they are doing. There is a "help" section to explain how to use parts of the forum - you have to read it.

        I like this idea. Stay tuned.

        But like Kay said, a lot of actionable information is here already, it's just not presented in the best way and it requires searching. Something we're working on fixing like crazy.
