I don't know what's up but the site sometimes takes awhile to load and it takes multiple tries to edit a post or submit a reply.

Still trying to submit an edit to a post. It's been about 15 minutes.

Other sites work fine, it's just WF.

I too have been having this issue.

I think if you remove the FEED it will solve all problems. (j/k)

Site slow loading - logs me out when I leave (which is unusual) - slow to log in and then goes to "feed" which I don't want.

      503 errors again today, too

At times on my end I am still experiencing some serious latency when navigating from forum to forum. When FL first took over this place it was upgraded to cat quick --> but lately some loads have seriously slowed.

My connection is good...this is what it looks like right now.

    Please resolve when possible.

    Thanks,

3+ weeks since my last post but nothing has changed. I am still experiencing intermittent latency when switching from forum to forum....sometimes as much as 5-15 seconds for a page connect and load.

My internet connection is fine, and often times the pages load cat quick as they should here...but when they don't, the delays can be quite lengthy.

I have no known latency issues elsewhere.

This sounds to me like a caching issue. Do you know if it's more prevalent when browsing the less active forums?

It's getting worse by the day.
No other site I use behaves like this and it used to be
dead fast when freelancer first changed the server.
So it's something they've done since.
Surely it can't be that difficult to sort out?

I'll do some further research and see when and where it's most prevalent and report back.

Yup, the site is still suffering from a bad case of intermittent latency. I started to track when and where but it's almost futile. I have been seeing it most often when trying to switch from a post in one sub-forum to the main forum page, and from the main page to a sub-forum....but it happens on other clicks too, and at almost anytime day or night.

I'm with moss in thinking this is may be a cache issue on FL's end.

When FL first moved the site to Amazon things were flying as you mentioned....now, some pages pop open and others may take as long as 20 seconds.

I sure hope someone is on it because nobody wants to wait 15 or 20 seconds for a page to load.

    Cheers

Just a quick note....the intermittent latency still exists. FWIW, I have tried proxies from several different U.S. locations and the issue is still apparent using those as well.

    Cheers

26 May 2016 Update --- The intermittent latency issue still persists.

My speed is still good and my connections on other sites on the net are not showing any notable persistent latency issues.

Is anybody still looking into this?

    Thanks

      Doesn't look like it.
      It's getting worse if anything.

For the past week or so it looked like this issue had been resolved. Not so fast....today the latency is back complete with a bunch of 503 errors.

Edit: 11:00 AM issues seem mostly resolved now.

Weird, I've not noticed any latency on my end today. Pages have been flying open so far...
