Maybe some mods for the weekend?

Pretty sure this has been brought up before,
but still for long periods of the weekend
the spammers are having a free run on the forum.
Surely someone must of noticed this?
How about doing something about it?

Did you see the Google Sniper review spam?

To be honest- I have no idea why anyone still promotes that outdated program.

That's easy. There are still a lot of sucker- naive people out there looking for easy money, and the sellers still pay commissions on outdated products.

      Lots of spam today, though.

Not to mention the overdose of articles again.
All in all, not much hope of a normal forum returning any time soon.

Hardly; I'm sure that's only for resident employees.

Even if it were true for Third-World freelancers, double nearly-nothing is still nearly nothing.

        Why are you offering voice-overs?

Maybe I'm not understanding your question, Zo.

And you can tell how often they look in here
by the amount of time the thread about "keywords" has been waiting
for someone to notice it's in the wrong place.
It really is time they got some proper moderation here.

It seems what mods are doing is telling posters to "add more" to the threads to get them approved, etc. "improving quality" seems to be micro managing first posts in threads - but the crap posts that quickly follow are ignored.

Meanwhile, they are approving ridiculous threads about topics such as the stock market - which are quickly spammed. They are ignoring one line, unintelligible posts from a horde of new members from non-English countries - and link spam is doing very well.

Where are the guys who rubbed elbows at the live event? Do they see those big improvements in quality? There is a tone deaf quality to the latest changes being made.

If anything it's got worse since then.
There certainly seems no interest in removing the junk posts
      or the source of them.

If they had set up some simple barrier even a very tiny fee most of the spam bot's would not waste their time to pay. Even a basic math problem to login would be a help. They have no interest to curb it, last night a male enhancement ads kept popping up. Frustrating to even try to flag the poster down.

Correct; their primary obligation is to their shareholders, to whom they're telling that they've reached "~20 million users", with a tiny footnote that "User... data includes all users... from acquired marketplaces."

Notice after the one thread about that event, the biggest cheerleaders for them, have not come back and posted. All hype no action on either side.
