Mods: My WSO Customers Are Getting Harassed When They Post Their Successes on my WSO threads

Hello,

I've received several emails from WSO customers of mine, who have told me that they've received multiple private messages from people, requesting free copies of my WSO, after they posted their success on my WSO thread. Most recently, one of my WSO customers told me about this problem through an email they sent me this past weekend. Here is the most recent email my WSO customer sent me (I've received several others like this):

"Hey Terry just wanted to say thanks one last time. I had another big sale
last month and this month. Your wso really saved me! I still have a few
people from a month from WF asking me to share with them for free your
wso....but I just ignore them.
People want something for nothing nowadays.
Even if I did share it with them they are the type of people that wouldnt
work it, it would go to waste. They would expect money with no work. But
thank you again. I wont contact again to let you know my progress lol. I
just love how much this system really works and thought I might say a BIG
GOD bless you one more time. Best of luck to you."

I'd like to request that some penalty be imposed on people who attempt to steal WSO's, by PM'ing people who post their successes on WSO threads. These types of PM's make people less likely to post their successes on WSO threads, when they know that they will be asked, via PM, to illegally share their purchase. As mentioned above, I've received several emails like this from my WSO customers, who have also expressed their hesitancy to share their successes, for this exact same reason. Based on these repeated emails I've received from my WSO customers, it seems clear that this is a consistent problem that discourages WSO customers from posting their successes. I'd like to request, therefore, that the moderators make a rule that imposes a penalty on people who attempt to steal WSO's in this manner. Thank you.

-Terry

There is a penalty. Those people will get banned. However, your customers need to forward the offending pm's to the Warrior Forum rather than to you. Otherwise, forum management won't know about it.

I've seen an uptick in PM spam - mainly from brand new "no post" people.

I ignore the harmless ones - I've reported the spam ones - some are banned - some are not. Often takes days before any action after a report - which leads me to think the ban is only for those who send PM spam to several members.

I would suggest the "report spam private messages" be in text - where people see it and know what to do about it. The little triangle isn't enough for PM's.

Maybe we need something added to the rules specifically addressing the PM function and what is allowed when using it.

Really bad to have buyers harassed like that! Penalty used to be a permanent ban.

    Hi,

Thank you for your suggestion. We will take note of it.

If they received the private messages through their Warrior Forum account, they may report the messages as spam/ promotional, using the report button. However, this would not be the case if they received the messages through external platforms.

if they received the messages through external platforms.
How would they receive private messages through external platforms? Is that possible?

Thank you everyone for the feedback and input on this matter. I will contact my most recent customer, who notified me of this situation, to let them know that they can report the PM, using the report icon specified.
