I have noticed a new format for certain posts, probably older posts where its laid out like an advert with the replies in a frame on the right. This is a huge problem because it make it even more difficult to read the threads, especially pictures and seems to load all posts so takes a long time to load up and makes the page VERY sluggish!

This is a VERY bad design, is there a way to display all posts the usual way?

Thanks,

This is a great suggestion. Would it work if we can keep it that way, but provide an easy way to view all teh replies in a page?

I think the old way was better, it didn't attempt to load ALL replies which now makes the post very sluggish and difficult to read.

There wasn't anything wrong with it before to warrant a change in layout.

To answer your question directly, the easy way to view all the replies is to keep it how it was, because now its difficult to view the replies.

      Thanks.

In fact now it seems all posts are in the new format, which means I have to scroll down to view the main post and then scroll back up to view the replies in a little window! This makes no sense to me, on top of that, with no pages to break the replies into, there is no point of reference...

I have to admit, I now have to persevere through a site that was easy to use and navigate, to the point I its putting me off coming here...

        Just being honest...

Click on your forum name in the black toolbar - at the bottom of the dropdown menu click on "view classic".

    See if that's better.

Yep! That fixed it! Hope fully they don't plan to remove the classic view!

I don't think so - just giving options, I guess.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work for the WSO section -- some WSOs seem to be "locked" into the "modern" (ugly blog/sales page) look. I remember using a code at the end of a URL to force the classic look several years ago; unfortunately, I did not save the info.

What are they doing to this forum???

It's getting more awkward with each seldom visit!!

I used to visit on a daily basis but now only once every few weeks as its so awful!! Even the main forum pages that list the posts are in such a terrible format its become such an unpleasant chore!

I guess my visits will become even more sparse... if at all.

They are trying to run both a v-bulletin that is way out of date & a feed. They are having issues with compatibility.
