The reply window closes when you click out

When you click on reply to anyone's post OR even to create a new post. As soon as you click out the window it closes. This is annoying because:

1. When I'm replying to someone in a LONG thread and I click out.. it loses my place and I don't remember which comment I'm replying to I just give up
2. I sometimes I forget I'm writing and just close it - for other users they might think their text has been deleted and it stops them from posting...

It just happened just now because I have the grammarly APP installed. I just clicked the squiggly line underneath a typo to update it and it closed my 'new thread' window taking me back to the normal screen. Any user would think their post has been deleted

    What do you mean by 'click out'? I consistently click to open a 'new tab' or 'new window' and my previous thread/post is still there. May take some practice to navigate the forum in a way that works for you.


    Are you using 'modern' or 'classic' view? You can toggle those by clicking on your forum name in the black toolbar and clicking on your choice there. In my opinion, classic view makes it easier to participate in the forum - modern view is perhaps easier to read on mobile.

    Don't see how we can help you with that one. Can't you hit the back arrow? Or go to 'history' and pull the thread up again?

        Every time lol. Including when I post new posts I'll accidentally click out of the window as in maybe another screen and it just closes. When im replying in a long post I lose my place

    See what you mean - try the classic view (use dropdown menu by clicking on your name in the black toolbar above).


    Modern View may be best for reading forum on iphone - but participation is more efficient with the classic view (in my opinion).
