Would it have been better if we had better text formatting in this community?

OK, the warrior forum has been around for ages now, it has become a Global community of People from all kinds of backgrounds discussing digital trends, its an amazing community to be part of.

The Only thing I would love to see improvements on is the Formatting Options at the text input area. A lot of forums today have very advanced formatting options where you can even change the color of the font right there by just using a visual editor, but here on warrior forum you have got to put in some code just to change text to bold. This is a very Old technology that was used in the early 90s when computers were being invented, it should at least get improved.

If you select View Classic from the drop-down menu under your name in the black toolbar at the top, you can use the forum's built-in text editor. No need to add code.

However, this being a discussion platform, posting in the standard font size and color makes threads easier to read, so out of respect for other members, please resist the urge to be creative with your text.

No, you don't. Click on User CP in white toolbar above - click on 'edit options' - go to the bottom of that page and make sure 'enhanced interface' is enabled.Instructions are for classic view but should work in both views.

posting in the standard font size and color makes threads easier to read,
All new threads are moderated before they appear - so posting a thread more than once doesn't help.

Frank's point above is important - in the past, members who routinely use bold or color in attempts to highlight keyword phrases are often told to stop doing that. Other features of it are often used here - such as the 'quote' function.
