I've posted this before in the OT forum, this new forum is a more appropriate place.

Just wondering why there's a banner in the header (top/right side of all pages) asking me to Join the Warrior Forum while I'm already logged in.

I would imagine that top/right banner is prime real estate for selling Ad space considering the location of the links directly below the banner pointing to each members profile page.

Currently that banner serves no purpose.

Not trying to flame, just some user feedback.

Yea it's just temporary. I had to remove the newsletter sign up form from that spot. Never used it and people actually thought they were registering for the forum even though it clearly said it was a newsletter. You would be shocked how many...

Since I never emailed the list I had it deleted and took the form down. I'll get something different up there at some point. Maybe rotating forum notices that won't be directly in everyone's face.

Thanks for the way the 'New Forum...' banner is now --still highly visible but not as annoying as the overlay in the footer was.

But now the question is that I'm already a member and it still tells me to become a member of warrior forum. Maybe members and guests should see a different sign.

I'm a member and I see that banner but it really does not make a difference to my browsing experience at all.

To admin, you could have some type of counter up there that shows the current number of members and/or posts.

It does make a difference on how you browse this forum.

If the space had something useful for you, it would change how you browsed the forum. Right now that space has nothing to offer you, which makes you avoid the space.

It serves no purpose to you now because your already a member of the forum, that was my point.
