A Filter Function for WSO - Review/Questions

Some sort of filter function in the WSO area so when you're looking at products/services you can filter through the questions and read those if you want, read everything as it is, or just look at the reviews of the product or possibly even a complaints filter too.

So a requirement of posting on a WSO would be to select your comment type.

-Question
-Complaint
-Review

or something along those lines because sometimes it takes too long to search through every page; IMO it discourages sales.

Many pages actually encourages sales since it can signify a popular product and those posts at the same time give exposure of the thread on the index page.

You are always free to pose a question, apologizing if it's already been answered in the midst of all the pages...

FAQ's and reviews are usually correlataed and posted by the vendor in initial posts too.

I meant it discourages sales when you're trying to find *actual* reviews but you have to wade through pages of "I bought this, thanks etc.. will return with review" .. but when a potential buyer looks at the thread, yes the multiple pages encourages sales, I get that.. but what I meant is the part where potential buyers are looking for reviews and progress reports.

It wouldn't be hard to do leaving everything intact, it'd just be a drop-down menu/filter that would only show certain posts using a similar drop-down when someone replies to the original thread. So you could find reviews and progress reports so you can make your decision on whether or not it's something that you want to buy.

As mentioned though, FAQ's and reviews are usually correlated in initial posts by the vendor for that very reason.

I haven't seen many WSO's (especially those with many pages) in which the vendor doesn't do that.
