Seeking New Full Time Affiliate Manager With Proven Track Record

Our growing 12-year-strong international company is looking for an experienced results-focused Affiliate Manager for our new office location in San Diego, CA, in the Sorrento Valley area.

We help entrepreneurs to start and grow their own profitable online business around their passion in a variety of niches, through selling digital products (e.g. video courses, coaching programs, etc) and agency services (e.g. online marketing services, business growth services, etc). While we do have an affiliate program, as we primarily acquire new customers from paid advertising, we've rarely recruited star affiliates for our affiliate program since we started our business in 2008. We also have a list of affiliates that have rarely been contacted since they joined. That's why we'd like you to supercharge our affiliate program by stepping into the full-time role of Affiliate Manager.

Please note you MUST have worked in an Affiliate Manager role before, not just in sales or similar. You MUST have had experience managing and growing an affiliate program to be eligible for this role.

The ideal candidate must:
  • Actively and creatively start and grow relationships with new "super" affiliates and recruit them into our affiliate program.
  • Manage relationships with all company affiliates with the end goal being for them to schedule in promotions for our products and services.
  • Report to the CEO to arrange placement of tracking pixels and new content required by top affiliates.
  • Motivate existing affiliates to promote our offers to their audiences, making use of limited-time contests, unique competitions and exciting motivational triggers.
  • Be focused on generating revenue for the company that is greater than what we're paying you, i.e. generate a positive ROI for the company.

In addition to the above requirements, the ideal candidate should:
  • Have experience with online marketing - specifically around sales funnels, digital products and services, conversion rate optimization, online advertising and small businesses in general.
  • Be results-focused and have an eye for metrics.
  • Prefer working for a stable company that doesn't need a ton of employees, rather than huge corporations.
  • Be proficient at organizing and prioritizing work to ensure timely responses and that nothing "slips through the cracks".
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills - especially via the Internet.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Suite, Facebook, Slack, Zoom/Skype, and Google Docs preferred.
  • Be of a positive mindset, a people person, fun to work with, and want to actually enjoy their job.

The position is a full time role (on a W-2 basis) with scope to grow with the company. So if you're currently working on a freelance basis and would like a more secure monthly income, or if you have been hit hard by the recent pandemic, this is for you.

You will be compensated bi-weekly with a competitive base rate PLUS 10% commission basis for all sales made within our affiliate program. The base rate will be discussed based on your knowledge, experience and results you can bring to the company. You will also have access to our competitive company benefits program as a W-2 employee.

At first you will be required to physically attend our office in the Sorrento Valley area (exact address to be provided when hired successfully), in San Diego, California, USA, with social distancing measures in place. However, physical attendance will not always be necessary, as there will be scope to work online from home as the company progresses.
