Quote/Estimate for website development and design

Hi,

I'm currently branding for a brand new website but was looking for a ballpark estimate on what you believe the site would cost for development.

The site is similar to stylecompare . Co . Uk

This site is essentially a price comparison site. But i will require extra functionality to incorporate with facebook and twitter and further products. I will also be looking for better design.

If you could give me an estimate along with details of your company and what you would be able to bring to such a project that would be great.

I don't do website design but have had a lot designed for me and learned a lot through this process. SHOP around first, don't take the first price. I have never paid more than £500 for a top quality design and website and don't see why people should pay beyond that. Shop around and always look for examples.

I'm ready to hire a developer for this price even today... with a contract that will state that if he/she can't deliver what have promised - he/she will pay all my expenses (devil)

... traditional magento or prestashop will not do the job here... let us start with a fact that the site is lighning fast!!
