I have a client and his personal name shows in #1 Google position for a bad article from some unhappy old customer. I need to get more pages listed on Google under his name and his numerous domains .net .com. org with his name etc. and want to get him listed on page one and the bad website moved down to page 2 or deeper. Hi Brian, I belive that can be done if we assume that the bad article from an unhappy old customer hasn't got too many backlinks to it (which it shouldn't).

There are two ways of going about this, and combining them is the best.

One would be to create your own pages, optimize them for your client's name and push them to the 1st page of Google, thus slowly pushing down the negative article.

The other would be to point a bunch of spammy links with explicit anchors (such as p*rn, viagra, etc.) to the negative article, also known as "negative SEO" which leverages Google's own algorithm to devalue its rankings.

Could be done easy for a personal name I just did it on 3 terms for one of my clients using youtube,web2.0s , and other stuff

I would just look on fiverr for the gig with the highest number of spammy backlinks offered and order one or more for your target.
