I need someone to help me set up the echoes theme by themeforest. this theme is very quirky and involves a slideshow and some other options on the front page etc. I have spent hours on this and normally I can figure out WP issues easily but this one I have no idea how to fix.

I am willing to pay someone $20 for help setting up this theme, I have a site I want it to look like and all the files I need to make it happen but I can't "talk" to this theme its driving me nuts.

This should be a simple matter for someone familiar with this theme and its idiosyncrasies.

Thank you all for contacting me, the issue was resolved.

For anyone else having the issues.. Let me explain here in case this gets indexed by google and some other poor person is spending hours on this with no answer:

Themeforest echoes theme has something called "mainpage" which is a function of the theme and allows you to do a cool flash slider, and has some great cufon headings, etc.. a really cool theme.

I spent hours trying to figure out how to "activate" the "mainpage" of my site.
when you create a new page in WP I thought there would be a page style called main page or front page, etc like some other premium themes have. Themeforest Echoes theme does NOT DO IT that way.

What I finally learned is that to activate the main page feature, you need to go to dashboard/ settings / reading / main page is most recent posts! It will not work if you choose static front page. This little peice of information would have saved me at least 2 hours of wasted time and frustration!

So if anyone else is having issues with this theme getting the front page to look like it does on the tin, THAT is how you do it.
