Searching for writers & content owners (new site)

Hi there, I'm about to launch my new website - Information Jackpot and I'm looking for writers and/or content owners.

I made this video for potential content contributors: Information Jackpot

So do you have super valuable information which you've already written?

Initially (first 6 months or so), the payout fund will be 20% of whatever is collected from membership fees. So for example, if the site collects $1,000 in membership fees in that month, I will pay out $200 to contributors. Individual payouts are based on % viewed so if your combined ePublications account for 15% of all views, you would get 15% of the fund for that month (in this case $30).

The goal is to grow this fund every month as we acquire memberships. Of course, there will also be new contributors all the time so this will compensate a bit but the payout fund will increase every month.

I am calling the submissions "ePublications" on this site but they can be informational, blogs, articles, research-based, educational, even videos (in the future). As long as they deliver VALUE to the reader, please feel free to upload.

The topic/category doesn't matter as long as the value is there for the reader. There is currently no set "word minimum". To view the list of 40 categories to pick from, go to Search (http://www.InformationJackpot.com/search) >> Advanced Search.

Btw, currently the only accepted format is PDF.

So if you have anything of value, please sign up and upload your ePublications.

This seems like an attempt to start a business without having to do any work or spend any money on content writers.

I don't think publishing duplicated content is going to be a viable business strategy or make nearly as much as you think it's going to make. Hell, if it were that easy, everyone could just download a PLR of 10,000 articles and start an article directory.

People wonder why Panda and Penguin keep hitting them :rolleyes:

Might have given this a seconnd look if payout percentage were 80%, but probably not. Just a suggestion...

yeah, as a writer the need to get paid right away is key. waiting for someone to build a site and then generate membership fees is tough. the site maybe a killer and make huge $$ but too much of a risk. GL to the OP

Nice design. Good videos. But writers, video makers, etc... can make good money from the start with other clients. There isn't even any mention about the marketing and/or money put into marketing to drive new members... so content creators fill the site with absolutely no idea if they will ever be reimbursed what their time is worth. Just a thought.

It turns out that the first month of membership is free; but after that it costs you $7/month, $47/year, or $97 for life.

There is no information about whether or not you can create a resource box or a backlink.
